Environmental Policy
Roymar Ship Management Inc. is committed to environmental practices which protect and preserve the marine environment in which our managed vessels operate. We have high standards in our fleet for pollution prevention, regulatory compliance and continual improvement of our environmental management activities.
We will realize our objectives and commitment to environmentally conscious practices by:
- Developing and implementing an ISO 14001 Environmental Management System;
- Strictly enforcing compliance with all applicable international and national environmental regulations;
- Implementing procedures and installing equipment that ensure prevention of pollution;
- Conserving natural resources, including fuel oil, and minimizing generation of waste, wherever practical;
- Recognizing that environmental protection is a critical responsibility of all office personnel, ships’ staff, agents, and subcontractors.
- Encouraging continual improvement of our environmental management system by setting, measuring and reviewing objectives and targets.
- Providing personnel with the necessary tools to fulfill their responsibilities, including assessment, training, shore-based access and support.
