A Significant Milestone In TBS' Development
The newbuild M/V Rockaway Belle delivered to TBS in the Third Quarter of 2009, a significant milestone for the Company. TBS has on order with Chinese shipyards five additional Roymar Class 34,000 dwt multipurpose vessels with retractable tweendecks, of which three are scheduled for delivery in 2010, and the remaining two in 2011, contributing to the renewal of the TBS fleet.
TBS is investing in the future as it continuously seeks new solutions to meet the growing demands of globalization. These newly-constructed ships will have increased cargo capacity and improved efficiencies.

TBS has successfully launched two of its five newbuild vessels under construction at the shipyard in China: the M/V DAKOTA PRINCESS in May 2009 and the M/V MONTAUK MAIDEN in November 2009.
The M/V ROCKAWAY BELLE vessel was officially named by its sponsor, Mrs. Elaine Royce, in honor of the brave men and women from Rockaway Beach, New York City, who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
