Port Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced marine engineer for the position of Port Engineer. With the expansion of our technical department, the anticipated travel for this position has been reduced considerably. Home office based candidates preferred, but remote alternatives will be considered. This position is responsible for the operation and supervision of assigned vessels with a focus on assuring continued performance of all onboard equipment and systems. Candidates must have substantial engineering expertise in planning and executing maintenance, repairs, survey and certificate requirements, dry docking and conversion or modification of assigned vessels. This position is accountable for monitoring vessel performance trends, compliance with Company policy, and inspections/surveys with Class Societies. Visiting the vessels on regular intervals and reporting on general conditions, repairs and maintenance, crew performance, safety, and environmental protection are to be expected. Some additional qualifications and essential skills include:
  • Valid Marine Chief Engineer’s License (Motor) or equivalent or a Degree in Marine Engineering required.

Fleet Diesel Engine Maintenance and Repair Manager

The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise and experience in the operation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of a variety of both main and auxiliary ships engines.
